Concerns grow after IFP member's death

The Inkatha Freedom Party says it's in shock following the killing of one of its members.

Zwelithini "Fuhluza" Khumalo was gunned down outside his home in Inanda near Durban yesterday afternoon.

The killing comes less than a month after the murder of the party's Ward 39 chairperson in KwaMashu, MbhaSobheni Biyela.

The IFP's Blessed Gwala says Inanda's been plagued by violence and killings recently.

He believes there's more to these killings.

"We are saying this because we have lost a number of IFP leaders around Durban. Our concern is that if someone has been killed police offer a reward. When it comes to IFP, nothing is done which makes us very scared as IFP," he said.
