Community Safety MEC warns offenders ahead of festive season

KZN's Community Safety officials say criminals will have nowhere to run or hide this festive season.

MEC Mxolisi Kaunda addressed law enforcement officials on the festive season safety plans at the Westville Correctional Services Centre.
He says criminals have no place in society.
"The criminals that we are faced with have their own head offices. They know where to meet so we should ensure that we defeat this scourge of crime. When you declare war against crime, you can't be soft but your actions must also be bold so that we are able to chase these criminals and suffocate them. They mustn't have a space to breath in this province," he says.
