Closure of N2, M13 for King Cetshwayo bridge demolition, alternate routes
Updated | By ECR Traffic
The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) will demolish the M13 (King Cetshwayo bridge) over the N2 highway in Durban on Saturday.
This will lead to road closures on 14 October from 18:00 until Monday, 16 October at 05:00.
The N2 (both directions) between the Spaghetti Junction and the Umgeni Road (M19) interchange and the M13 between Westwood Mall (the Essex Terrace Interchange) and 54th Avenue (aka 45th Cutting) will be temporarily closed to traffic.
The closures are set to last for 35 hours.
Motorists are advised to plan their trips for the weekend beforehand and to give themselves enough travel time in case of potential delays caused by the closure.
The alternate route guide is available to all motorists and can be accessed here.
