Christian forum to fight for Easter church openings
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
The South African National Christian Forum says it's prepared to take government to court to ensure churches remain open during the upcoming Easter period.

Last week our Health Minister called for a stricter lockdown with fears of a looming third wave of COVID-19 infections.
Bishop Marothi Mashashane, says the Minister's comment is irrational and loaded with elements of double standards.
"There is no way government can close churches while it allows casinos to continue operating, cinemas for entertainment and allow people to be inside packed taxis", he said.
The Bishop says the Forum plans to challenge government if a decision is made to close churches.
"We are not going to hesitate to take a legal stand on an urgent basis", Mashashane said.
