Chatsworth shooting suspects due in court

Two men are due to appear in court today after a shoot-out broke at a betting house in Chatsworth yesterday.

SAPS spokesperson Thulani Zwane says three armed men allegedly targeted the gambling spot, robbing the employees of cash just after midday in Funfair road in Bayfair.
One suspect was killed during the shoot-out with police. The other two were arrested.
They face charges of robbery with aggravating circumstances and attempted murder.
Police say investigations will get underway into the death of the first suspect.
