Chatsworth school bullying incident filmed
The parents of a Durban pupil who was captured on camera being allegedly assaulted in full view of other learners are considering moving her to another school.
The 13-year-old girl's parents say she came home with a red mark on her face after last week's incident.
The pupil, who is in Grade 8 at a secondary school in Chatsworth, says she has always been subjected to bullying by the fellow learner.
A case of assault has since been opened at the Chatsworth Police Station.
The Deputy Principal at the school says the matter is being dealt with accordingly.
This is not the first time the school is making the headlines.
A couple of years ago, a video entitled ‘Black and Yellow’ from the school surfaced and went viral on social media. It showed violent fights involving pupils at the school.
