Celebratory warning for class of 2021
Updated | By Nondumiso Dube
The matric class of 2021 is expected to start celebrating their hard-earned achievements.
KZN's Health MEC, though, has warned against going overboard at festivities which might lead to unplanned pregnancy and infections.
MEC Nomagugu Simelane made the comments at Newcastle yesterday.
She says learners need to take precautions at festivities and avoid consuming drugs and alcohol for their own safety.
Simelane also encouraged those who didn't pass their matric to not overly dwell on their failure but rather opt for second chances - going back to school or seek a rewrite.
