Cele warns law breakers ahead of SONA
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Police Minister Bheki Cele has warned law enforcement officers are ready to deal with anyone who causes trouble ahead of the State of Nation Address.

President Cyril Ramaphosa will on Thursday evening recap what government has done over the past year and will outline new plans.
The SONA will take place at the Cape Town City Hall for the second time - following the devastating fire at Parliament at the beginning of last year.

Cele, on Thursday morning, told police officers and other security agencies, deployed in and around the Mother City to ensure safety and security at the SONA.
He's reminded them of their duty to enforce the law.
"You don't smile, you don't romance criminality, and you don't show your teeth when it comes to those who break the law.
"You measure the law and implement it. The constitution calls upon you to enforce the law and protect inhabitants."
