Cele urges speedy response to the vulnerable as he bids farewell

Police Minster Bheki Cele
says he's grateful to have served as a minister.

He was speaking in Pretoria yesterday where he handed over 130 vehicles to criminal record centres.
Cele is among several top ANC members who will not be returning to the National Assembly.

He says his replacement will find the ministry in a better state and called for more urgency when dealing with vulnerable groups.
"Crime scenes where women, children and the elderly are victims… you have to double your response. You have to know while we fight crime altogether, the response to those should be prioritized."
