Cele: Three 'people of interest' identified for German tourist killing
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Police Minister Bheki Cele says three people have been taken in for questioning in connection with the murder of a German tourist in Mpumalanga province.
Hijackers accosted a group of tourists outside the Kruger National Park near White River on Monday.
Police say they demanded that they open the doors of their minibus.
The driver was shot and killed when he instead locked the doors.
He and his wife were with two other German nationals, and were headed to their lodge in the park.
The suspects fled without taking anything.

“We believe that we will be able to crack the case very soon, since the police have done the job and they believe they are not very far in cracking the case."
