Cecil the lion: local hunter in court
The professional hunter who helped track down Cecil the lion is due to stand trial in Zimbabwe today.
Theo Bronkhurst faces charges of failing to prevent the unlawful killing of an animal.
Bronkhurst and American dentist, Walter Palmer both claim they thought the hunt was legal.
Zimbabwe Professional Hunter and Guides Association Chair, Louis Muller says the case is very rare.
"As far as illegal activities goes within people that are licensed to hunt is very minimal. We do self-regulate ourselves," he said.
The incident sparked international outrage on social media.
