LISTEN: Cash-in-transit guards march in Durban CBD
Updated | By Bernadette Wolhuter
Durban cash-in-transit guards are joining a nationwide protest, marching through the city centre to demand increased protection.

They say they're taking to the streets because of the growing concern over cash-in-transit heists.
The Motor Transport Workers Union and the Federation of Unions of South Africa, are heading up the protest.
"CIT companies - SBV, G4S and Fidelity are marching to handover their memorandum to the provincial commissioner of police. All we are doing is seeking protection in terms of the rising number of heists. We feel our members are not protected at all," MTWU's Zodwa Zama said.
Zama explains the route the march is following.
