Car crashes into wall; driver seriously injured
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
A man has been rushed to hospital after he crashed his car into a wall on the M4 in Durban North.

Netcare 911's Chris Botha says the man appears to have suffered some kind of a medical emergency resulting in him losing control of his car in the northbound carriageway near the Swapo Road off-ramp.
"One of the back tyres exploded and there was smoke everywhere causing people to think that the whole vehicle was alight. The driver did sustain serious injuries. Paramedics and the fire department attended to him," he said.
There was a traffic backlog due to the crash but traffic on that freeway is said to be flowing again.
