Car crashes and catches alight in Umhlanga

A motorist has escaped injury after a car caught alight on the M4 near the M41 route in Umhlanga Rocks.

Firefighters and paramedics were called out to the scene before 10pm last night and worked quickly to put out the flames.
It is unclear what caused the fire.
Crisis Medical medics say no one suffered any injuries in the fire which saw the road way closed as emergency services battled the blaze.
