Calm restored after Mayville, Cato Manor protest

Authorities have managed to disperse groups of protestors in Durban's Mayville and Cato Manor areas.
Roads that had been blocked along King Cetshwayo Highway and Vusi Mzimela Road have been reopened.
Metro Police and SAPS were deployed to the scene this morning when protestors barricaded the roads with burning tyres.
Metro Police say intersections with the King Cetshwayo Highway were affected at Galway and Waterfall roads.
Protestors used branches the block Vusi Mzimela Road in the vicinity of the Westridge Tennis Stadium.
