CAA welcomes decision to ground Boeing 737 MAX 8

The SA Civil Aviation Authority has welcomed the decision by South African airline, Comair to temporarily remove its Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft from its flight schedule.

The company joins several airlines around the world that have grounded the model.
It's after 157 people died when a passenger jet crashed minutes after take-off in Ethiopia on Sunday.
There were people from 35 countries on board - including some two dozen UN staff.

The aircraft was the same type of jet as the Indonesian plane that crashed in October - killing 189 people.
