Easter holidays gives much needed boost to KZN tourism

KZN's hospitality and tourism industry says the long weekend has so far been a boost for business.
Holidaymakers
have come into the province from across the country for the Easter break.

FEDHASA's East Coast Chairperson, Brett Tungay says some of KZN’s main tourist areas are reporting occupancies of up to 70% to 80%.
“South coast, north coast a good visitor number has been reported there today, the same with the Drakensburg and Midlands. All the main tourists’ areas are looking good for the weekend, reporting 90 to 95% occupancy.” says Tungay.
