Bus services near Melmoth return to normal this week
Updated | By Lethiwe Mdluli
Bus operations are set to resume in Ntambanana near Melmoth.
This after Transport MEC, Mxolisi Kaunda, met with traditional leaders and the leadership of uMthonjaneni Municipality.
Operators embarked on an illegal strike last month over an internal dispute with the company.
Community members also boycotted the service saying they were unhappy with it.

The department's Kwanele Ncalane, says the bus service will be up and running from Thursday.
"We are also cautious of the fact that there have been strong allegations that some community leaders are engaged in the process of mobilising communities to cause more disruptions because they have their own preferred operator. We are saying this is unacceptable because the current operator was appointed through normal procurement processes. Therefore, we must all respect that," he says.
Ncalane says police have been deployed to the area to make sure there are no disruptions.
