Bus driver shot, killed in PMB

A bus driver has been shot dead while transporting around 50 commuters in Pietermaritzburg.
The man - believed to be about 50-years-old - died on scene in Old Wartburg Road last night.
Sadly there was nothing that could be done for the man believed to be about 50 years of age. He was declared dead.
ER24 says the bus crashed down an embankment and into a house after the driver was shot.
Paramedics treated one other person for minor injuries.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
