Bus driver shot dead in Tongaat
Updated | By Shaun Ryan
A bus driver has been shot dead while driving along the Watson Highway in Tongaat, north of Durban this morning.

IPSS Medical Rescue says they received the call out at around 6:20am.
Spokesperson Paul Herbst says the man was declared dead on scene after sustaining a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
Herbst says about 30 other people had been travelling on the vehicle at the time.
"People are very shocked at the moment and not much has been discussed because of the investigation. We do know the shooter was on the bus with quite a few passengers as well."
"Quite a few [passengers] are obviously very traumatised, two of them have been transported to hospital for minor injuries," he said.
The motive behind the attack is unknown. Herbst says authorities are on scene.
