He was testifying at the Parliamentary inquiry into the troubled power utility.

Qoma says Brown misled Parliament when she claimed she had not been aware of the millions in irregular payments made to Trillian Capital Partners by Eskom.

Qoma says suspended Eskom Chief Financial Officer Anoj Singh was behind Brown's statement to Parliament.

"That response was prepared by Anoj Singh. He said we did not pay a cent to Trillian meanwhile we had actually paid them millions. So, the Minister in turn lied because she used that information," he says.

He says Brown still did nothing when the truth came out.

"She did not see that there was something wrong with this transaction, get people dealt with and investigate the matter. At that time, that was early warning enough. Singh did not face any music about that. She knows that that information came from Singh. When the media is chasing her down, she says suddenly - I did not know what was happening. If you go back to the statements - you would be shocked," he says.
