Breytenbach trial to begin in July
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
The trial against DA MP Glynnis Breytenbach and her former lawyer, Gerhard Wegenaar will get underway on July 18.

They're facing charges of contravening the NPA Act and two charges of defeating the ends of justice.
Breytenbach faces two additional counts of fraud and perjury.
The National Prosecuting Authority's Luvuyo Mfaku says the date was agreed upon unanimously.
"In the last appearance, we provided the defence with copies of the docket that signify the fact that we are ready to proceed. The date has been arranged between the State and the defence," he said.
Breytenbach is confident there's no case against her. She says the charges are a political ploy.
"I'm extremely confident - yes. We must get it done. It is irritating, time consuming and inconvenient. Let's get it over with, bring it on," she said.
