Breakthrough in murder case of Chatsworth man

Detectives have made a breakthrough in the death of Chatsworth resident Bradley Singh.

Singh was stabbed to death in November.
His body was found on a pathway in the south of Durban.
At the time, it appeared he had fallen victim to robbers as his cell phone and bag were reported missing.
The 38-year-old's wife and her boyfriend were arrested by Bayview police this week.

Police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says they appeared in court on Monday.
"As the investigation progressed, information surfaced that the victim's wife and her boyfriend were involved in the murder.
"Following an intensive investigation, detectives arrested Loretha Somone Ramrathan (29) and Zace Wendell Leo Brock (37) on 24 February 2023. The pair appeared before the Chatsworth Magistrates Court on 27 February 2023. They were remanded in custody until 2 March 2023 for a formal bail application.”
