BREAKING: Man arrested in connection with Wyebank murders

Police have confirmed that a 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of four siblings from Wyebank, west of Durban.

The bodies of 4-year-old Kuhlekonke, 6-year-old Khwezi and 10-year-old Spesihle Mpungose were found hanged at their home yesterday afternoon.
Their 16-year-old sister, Ayakha Jiyane was found hanging from a tree in the New Germany area last night.
Police say the suspect was arrested in KwaDabeka a short while ago.

Saps spokesperson, Thembeka Mbele says he will appear in court on four counts of murder.

Meanwhile, the children's mother, Xoli Mpungose wept after hearing that the suspect had been arrested by police.She was consoled by family members outside their home near Pietermaritzburg.
