KZN police are searching for a man believed to be on the run after stabbing his girlfriend to death during a domestic dispute in Verulam, north of Durban.

Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says the body of the woman was found by neighbours in her Jacaranda Avenue home yesterday.
"Yesterday at 11:20, a woman was allegedly stabbed to death by a known suspect. The suspect fled the scene after committing the incident. No arrests have been made at this stage. We are appealing to anyone who might have information about the suspect to contact their local police station," she said.
It's understood the woman and suspect have a two-month-old child together.
