Boy (11) drowns in Umlazi River
Another drowning has been recorded in KZN after an 11-year-old boy drowned in the Umlazi River.
It’s understood the boy had an epileptic seizure yesterday while swimming in the Umlazi River in Bhekithemba.
Members of the community managed to pull the boy out of the shallow water but he passed away.
Search and rescue officers later moved the body out of the valley and handed it over to Umlazi police.
