Updated | By Lauren Beukes
KwaZulu-Natal police say officers are currently combing the Water and Sanitation Department building in Durban over a suspected bomb threat.

A source has told Newswatch a phone call was received at the department claiming three bombs had been planted on the premises.
A man who works there says, the office block has been evacuated and cordoned off.

"I just grabbed my [stuff], and I was out of the building. Everybody was frantic. Normally when there is a fire drill we know, but in this case, the staff just ran outside the building saying there was a scare."
"The whole place is taped off, so all staff is outside, and SAPS is on the premises at the moment conducting their investigation."
