Bomb concealed in package explodes in Durban home, five hurt

Five people have been rushed to hospital after a package delivered to them exploded in their home on Stephan Dlamini Road formerly, Essenwood Road in Durban this afternoon.
Details are still sketchy at this stage but it is believed the family had a bouquet of flowers delivered to them - which exploded in their lounge.

Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says they were rushed to hospital privately.
Forensic experts are currently at the scene. A relative of the five people injured says three of them are in a critical condition in a Durban hospital.
"My cousin who is in hospital at the moment is critical. He received the package. His wife and my aunt are also critical. Three people are critical in hospital at the very moment," he said.
