Body of woman recovered from Dusi

The body of a woman thought to be in her 50s has been recovered from the Dusi River - after it was seen floating earlier today.
ER24 says they were called out by members of the public to Alexandra Park in Pietermaritzburg, following the discovery.

Spokesperson Chitra Bodasing says there was a joint effort in getting the body out of the water.
"Search and Rescue divers, with the assistance of ER24 crews, retrieved a body from the water. There was nothing that could be done for the woman. The body was handed-over to SAPS. The exact details are unknown," she said.
