Luyanda's body was found in the Montclair area on Saturday.
Two women have since been arrested.
Police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbhele - who's on the scene - says the family has positively identified the body.
"The body was recovered by employees from Transnet who were performing their duties. They noticed the body in a tunnel then they called the police. They then called the police. The family was there and they have identified the body as that of their son," she says.
Mbhele says at this stage, the cause of the death is unknown.
