Body recovered at uShaka Beach

Search and rescue officials in Durban have recovered the body of a man off the pier at Ushaka beach.

He was found this morning - but he has not yet been identified and there are still questions around his death.

The police's Thulani Zwane says they've opened an inquest docket.
"He had some injuries on his head, as well as other parts of the body. We are appealing to members of the community to come forward and identify the man - because we are not sure if he was reported as a missing person or not," he said.
