Body of newborn baby found in Durban

The baby boy was found in Glenwood by a resident earlier this afternoon.

"Paramedics arrived on scene to find the lifeless body of the little baby. Unfortunately, the baby had already succumbed to his injuries and the body was then handed over to the SAPS," Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson said.  

Jamieson says police will be investigating the circumstance surrounding the incident.
