Body of KZN boy believed drowned found

The body of a nine-year-old KwaNdengezi boy who drowned while swimming with friends on Sunday has been found.

Nkanyiso Phewa's body was found eight kilometres further downstream the Umlazi River.
A search and rescue team had been looking for him since Sunday.
"Yesterday, the Durban Search and Rescue were called out to KwaNdengezi where they recovered the body of Nkanyiso Phewa - a nine-year-old who was reported missing. He drowned in Umlazi River."
Mbhele says a herdman found the boy in the river.
"An inquest docket was opened at KwaNdengezi for further investigation," police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbele said.
