The body of a 16-year-old boy believed to have drowned has been recovered in Nsuze, in northern KwaZulu-Natal.

It is understood the teenager had been fishing at a river on Sunday when he lost his footing and fell into water.
IPSS Medical Rescue's Paul Herbst says their members were part of the search and recovery mission, along with police dive teams and K9 units from Richards Bay, Umhlali and Durban.
He says the police’s air wing was also called in to help because the location was only accessible by air.
