Decomposed body discovered in bushes
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
KZN Police have opened an inquest docket, after a decomposed body of a man was found in KwaDabeka, west of Durban.
It was discovered by a passerby in bushes on Friday.
Spokesperson Thulani Zwane says the man is believed to have been in his 40s.
"The cause of death has not been established as the matter is still under investigation. It was not easy to determine an obvious cause of death such as stab wounds due to the advanced state of decomposition", he said.
"At this stage we are awaiting post mortem results which will tell us how long the body had been lying there", Zwane said.
