Body found on banks of Umgeni River
A body has been found on the banks of the Umgeni River in Durban North.
Emer-G-Med spokesperson Kyle Van Reenan says a pedestrian spotted the body on Wednesday near Riverside Road.
He says the victim is believed to have been in his 30s.
"Closer inspection confirmed it to be a male approximately thirty years old.
"Paramedics assessed the man and confirmed him to be dead.The cause of death is believed to be a stab wound.
'"However, the South African Police Services were in attendance and will be conducting the necessary investigations accordingly."
