Police in KwaZulu-Natal say a man has been taken in for questioning after the bodies of two girls were found in Ulundi, in northern KZN.
In a statement, detectives say the two girls, aged six and 14, were kidnapped by a known suspect in the area last week Thursday.
KZN police spokesperson Thembeka Mbele says the following day, a body of the six-year-old girl was found.
Mbele says it appears the child had been strangled and had assault injuries.

"Yesterday, a body of a 14-year-old girl was also found in the same area, but far from the first scene where the six-year-old girl was found.
"The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated. There was a person who was taken in for questioning, but he hasn't been arrested yet. Hence there are no arrests. Police are still investigating."
