Bodies of three children, man recovered after separate drowning incidents in Durban

The bodies of three children who drowned on Tuesday have been pulled from a river in KwaNdengezi, near Pinetown.
A group of children had been swimming in the Izimbokodo River when one of them, a 10-year-old boy, got into difficulty.
Two older boys, aged 14 and 15, tried to help him but all three drowned.
Police divers retrieved their bodies late last night.

Meanwhile, rescue divers are searching for a man, presumed to have drowned, at Durban's South Beach.
He and two friends were swimming at the beach last night when they got into difficulty in the water.
One of them, a woman, managed to swim to shore. Another man lost his life.
KZN EMS spokesperson Robert Mackenzie says rescuers have recovered his body.
"Sadly a man was recovered from the water at about 11pm last night - he had sadly drowned. One person is still missing and search and rescue teams are going to continue the search for him."
