Bodies of missing Mtubatuba cousins found in river

The bodies of two young cousins who went missing from their Mtubatuba home have been found floating in a river.

Two-year-old Simikahle Siyaya and three-year-old Seluleko Ngema were last seen on Saturday.
The family previously told Newswatch the children were under the care of their grandmother at the time.
The elderly woman last saw them playing in the passage of their Ogengele home.

Police soon descended on the northern KZN reserve, searching a forest behind the home and other a surrounds, with no luck.
On Thursday, two bodies of a little boy and a little girl were spotted floating in the uMvuzane River and authorities called.
They were identified as Simikahle and Seluleko by the family.
An inquest docket has been been opened at KwaMsane SAPS.
