Bluff mum reunites with children after two-year battle

A Bluff mother who fought for two years to get her two girls back from a children's home says having them with her again is the best Mother's Day gift.
A judge previously ordered that they be taken to a home when the woman lost her home and was unable to care for the eight and nine-year-olds.
She alleges that the abuse started at the Lungisa Indlela Village in Cottonlands near Verulam, north of Durban in 2014.
The Durban High Court ruled last week that the children be returned to their mother and a full investigation into the home launched.
"The security guards, the smile on their faces, they were so happy that finally I had come to get my girls because they had also told me about the abuse in the home. The little one said that she will never ever, ever forget what they had done to her big sister and how they had beaten her up," she said.
Founder of the village Tich Smith says he harbours no ill feelings towards her.
He's confirmed the court order, welcoming any investigation into the home describing it as a transparent organisation.
Smith says there have been incidents of a sexual nature, saying management acts accordingly when incidents are reported.
''We run the organisation as best we can. Many of these children unfortunately have been sexually awakened before their time as many of them have been abused.
"If anything has happened it's against our will and where we haven't witnessed anything, we take action in whatever we do," he said.
