WATCH: Bird rescued as Pinetown home goes up in flames

Firefighters and emergency workers are at the scene of a fire at a home in Pinetown.
Emergency services were called to the complex on Cheriton Drive after the blaze broke out earlier this afternoon.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says they found the house engulfed by flames while attending to an accident scene nearby.

He says no one has been injured while the cause of the fire is still unknown.
"We were attending to a collision on Old Main Road when we saw the smoke billowing and people ran to call us for assistance. The frantic owner of the house expressed that she had a bird at the back of her house.
"Breakdown drivers as well as rescue paramedics quickly ran around the side of the premises to find the bird and rescue the bird. However, the house was fully engulfed in flames," he said.
