Bid to bar Springboks from RWC
Relatively unknown political party the Agency for a New Agenda has brought the application on the basis there are not enough black players in the squad.
Judge Ntendeya Mavundla adjourned the matter earlier to assist the president of the party in getting legal opinion as he believed the matter was to important for him not to have representation.
Listen to Judge Mavundla below:The judge did indicate that this is indeed a serious matter as it involves transformation and he made various examples of the importance of transformation and then he said it was important for Mr Mkhwanazi to get a proper legal representative in order to be able to do justice to his course.
He then tasked the legal representative of Minister Fikile Mbalula to approach the bar council and seek assistance for Mr Mkhwanazi, so that he can get a fair trial, going forward.
