Vusi Gumede, along with Bheki Nkosi and Siyabonga Dlamini allegedly dug a hole through the wall of their cells and made a run for it.

Gumede was found hiding at his mother's house in KwaMakhutha yesterday after police received a tip-off.

Police say Nkosi and Dlamini are still at large.

Meanwhile, three men have been arrested for the murder of a 20-year-old woman whose body they later buried in a grave in Manguzi, in northern KwaZulue-Natal.

Thandazile Mpunzi was reported missing by her family earlier this month.

The motive for the attack is still unknown. The men will appear in the Manguzi Magistrate's court soon, facing charges of murder.
