Bathabile Dlamini has become the third ANC Member of Parliament to resign from the National Assembly this week.

Nonceba Hlaudi from the ruling party's Caucus in Parliament confirmed the former controversial Social Development Minister tendered her resignation last night.
"The office of the Chief Whip confirms the resignation of former Minister for Women in the Presidency, comrade Bathabile Dlamini. This becomes the third resignation received this week and the seventh resignation from a former minister in total," Hlaudi said.
Hlaudi says they are aware that Dlamini's resignation letter is being shared on social media this morning.
"We have seen it circulating online and because the issues mostly relate to ANC matters - it would be more appropriate for the ANC itself to speak on the issues raised in the letter," she said.
Jeff Radebe and Siyabonga Cwele also left the National Assembly as ordinary members yesterday.
While in recent weeks, former political bigwigs like speaker Baleka Mbete, Susan Shabangu who previously headed up Social Development and former minister Malusi Gigaba - said they won't be returning to the country's sixth democratically elected Parliament.
