Award-winning KwaZulu-Natal Opera singer, Pinky Mtshali, has died from what's said to be heart complications.
Social media messages have been pouring in since last night when the news of the Umlazi trained vocalist's death broke.
Mtshali has made a name for herself in the arts industry.
Besides opera singing, she dabbled in jazz, cabaret and pop music.
Her versatility in the arts proved true when she founded the popular Durban Diva show - where she showed off her other talents in costume designing and sewing.
