Award-winning documentary on rhino poaching comes to KZN

A local film, bringing to the fore the country's rhino poaching crisis and the illegal trade of its horn, will be screened in the greater Durban area for the first time this weekend.

The documentary looks at special ranger units at the Kruger National Park, rhino at KwaZulu-Natal's Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park while also shedding a light on wildlife trafficking and dealing in East Asia.
STROOP: Journey into the Rhino Horn War is a production that's taken four years to bring to life and has earned ten international awards since its premier in August.
Producer, Bonne de Bod says the film has resonated with local audiences and those abroad.
Stroop will be screened at the Ballito Junction - on Sunday, the 9th of December. Tickets are available here.
