Authorities to restore water supply to uThukela District
Updated | By Khatija Nxedlana
Residents affected by water shortages in the Umtshezi Local Municipality which falls within the uThukela District Municipality in northern KZN are likely to have supply restored by Friday.
They've been left without water since last week Friday as a result of repairs to a water pipe at the Archie Rodell water works.
UThukela District Municipality Mayor Dudu Mazibuko says the Water and Sanitation department had last week been working on the extraction point and that a change to the pipes affected the flow of water to the community.
