Attorney tangled in fraud and corruption case to appear in Pretoria court

A Pretoria attorney is expected to appear in court today for his alleged role in a massive SAPS fraud and corruption case.

The 32-year-old man from Centurion handed himself over to the Anti Corruption Task Team yesterday.
The case related to a 2018 investigation of alleged fraud and corruption of SAPS vehicles' branding, renovation of buildings, and the procurement of stationery.
His arrest brings the total number of accused to 72 accused. These include top cops and business people.

National police spokesperson Vishnu Naidoo. " He's alleged to have received over R900 000 from one of the accused on the day the said accused was being arrested. Naidoo is expected to appear in the Pretoria Magistrates court tomorrow for a formal bail application.
More arrests in connection with these cases cannot be ruled out at this stage.
