Attempted murder probe into South Coast Road stabbing

KwaZulu-Natal Police are investigating a case of attempted murder after a Queensburgh man was stabbed several times - while walking along South Coast Road, south of the city.
Christo Binneman has been waiting for the traffic lights to turn green for pedestrians when he was stabbed several times.
Police say the motive for the attack not clear at this stage.
Witnesses to the attack or any one with information is being asked to come forward.
Binneman says his attacker came out of the blue.

"I'm not sure why I was attacked. He didn't demand anything or say anything - he just attacked," he said.
