Attempted murder probe opened after Malvern shooting

Malvern police are investigating a case of attempted murder following a shooting at a restaurant at a local mall, south of Durban.
KwaZulu-Natal police says a group of men were sitting at a table when a gunman opened fire on them on Wednesday.
Spokesperson Thenjiswa Ngcobo says two men, aged 50 and 65 years, were shot.

"They were both stabilised on the scene before they were transported to hospital.
"A case of attempted murder was opened at Malvern SAPS for investigation. The motive for the attack is unknown at this point."
No arrests have been made yet.
